Door pulls for your exterior doors

Entrance door pulls, like knobs, are an essential, decorative, and functional piece of hardware. All exterior doors have a door pull (or a knob) which, once the door is unlocked with the key, helps us move it to open and close it. This hardware is elongated and can be installed either vertically on the side of the door or horizontally in the center.

Install a door pull on your home's entrance door

Installation is very simple, consisting of drilling two holes through the door and inserting through-bolts with cover caps from the inside to securely fasten the door pull. If the door is reinforced or armored and you want to fix the pull vertically on the profile, we recommend not getting too close to the edge to avoid damaging the lock.

Types of entrance door pulls

The door pulls installed on entrance doors must be of very high quality. This is something we at TiendaManilla emphasize a lot, as they are hardware pieces that are highly exposed to temperatures, handling, and corrosive environments (if near the sea). For this reason, our door pulls are generally made of stainless steel, and the black ones, in addition to also being stainless, have a layer of paint that is well-adhered to the steel.

In addition to the material and the two recommended colors (pure stainless steel and black), there are generally tubular door pulls (round tube) and square door pulls. There are also rectangular exterior door pulls that adorn any entrance very elegantly.

Finally, door pulls can be straight or have an offset angle of about 45º. Aesthetically, it gives a different touch to the doors, and when it comes to decoration, we recommend that you follow your own taste and install whichever fits your space best. After all, the entrance door is the first thing anyone sees of any home.
